It’s always been our underling principles and shared values between the Responsible Trading Company and the Fazenda Vaccaro. We have managed to certify 4 farmers in the local area in becoming organically certified by the IBD (institituo BioDynamico), and we aim to increase this number to 10 within the next decade. It provides a more natural, cleaner, end product that, in turn, doesn’t produce any toxins or impurities in the Cachaca that is being produced with the juice from the organic sugar cane. Plus, most importantly, evidence suggests that if you only drink organic alcohols and don’t mix then it reduces the effects of a hangover the next morning!
