A Brazilian Classic: Batida de Coco!
It is hot hot hot outside and this weather calls for a tropical drink. Perhaps almost as popular as caipirinha in Brazil, the “Batidas” made out of fruit pulp, ice and cachaça are a tradition all over the country. The coconut flavoured one is a classic choice, and it couldn’t be easier to make. Check it out:
BATIDA DE COCO (by Mestre das Batidas bar, São Paulo)
400 ml Cachaça
1 can of coconut milk
2 tsp sugar
1 can condensed milk
2 cups of ice
Place the ingredients into a blender or shaker and pronto! Garnish with coconut pieces. E PRONTO!
